Fixed by TextMate 2
Okay, so this isn’t really a tip but I found it entertaining and wanted to share it. Obviously the past couple of days has brought forth a lot of TextMate 2 buzz. It’s been all over blogs and twitter about the “talk” re-surfacing. One thing I came across was a mini-app written by Ryan Bigg. Ryan is a developer in Queensland (Australia). From his blog:
This site is http://fixedbytm2.com and, as you can now probably see, shows you, in bite-sized pieces so you’re not too overwhelmed exactly what features and bugs are going to be fixed in TextMate 2!
Clicking the link above will take you to the site. You’ll see a randomly selected, user-added “feature” from TextMate 2. Here are a few of my favorites so far:
economic and financial crisis will be fixed by TextMate 2
Windows Registry will be fixed by TextMate 2
Endless smug and pompous blog posts by switchers to vim will be fixed by TextMate 2
So if you want some brief entertainment, head on over and click “Random” a few times.
